You arm it with the remote. Two of our models use a vibration sensor, so tampering or forced entry sets off a 115dB siren. The MAG Connect model uses a magnetic sensor instead. If the box is opened while the alarm is armed, the siren sounds.
Alarms
A toolbox alarm gives a thief a reason to move on. Every alarm in this range has a loud 115dB siren and a remote. They stick on with adhesive tape, so there is no drilling.
There are three models:
- Vibration alarm with remote siren. It senses tampering or forced entry. It runs on 3 x AAA batteries and warns you when they run low.
- Rechargeable vibration alarm. It uses a wireless vibration sensor, has a low battery warning and comes with batteries.
- MAG Connect alarm. A magnetic sensor sets off the siren if the box is opened while armed. You can pair several alarms to one remote. It takes 2 x AAA batteries, which are not included.
These alarms suit tradies who leave power tools on site, campers on the road and farmers in rural areas.
An alarm works best with good hardware. See our locks for whale tail handles and spare barrels, or browse all toolboxes. We ship from Prestons NSW Australia-wide, and most orders leave within one business day.
