Fridge Slides & Canopy Pantry

A fridge slide brings your fridge out to you. No more leaning deep into the canopy to reach a cold drink. Pair it with a pantry and you have a camp kitchen at the back of your ute.

• Fridge slides: in raw aluminium or black. Each has a slide-out chopping board and a bar latch. The fridge tray is 695mm deep and 490mm wide, with a 60mm high edge.
• Canopy pantry: our ute canopy pantry is 830 x 210 x 660mm in 3mm raw flat plate aluminium. It has six compartments on heavy duty locking slides and a single bar handle. The side panel fits on either side, or you can leave it off.

Measure the base of your fridge before you order. It needs to sit inside the 695 x 490mm tray.

Fridge slide buying guide

A good fridge slide makes a canopy or tray far easier to live with. Work through these checks before you buy.

1. Measure the fridge base

Measure the footprint of your fridge at its base, including any handles or feet that stick out. Compare it with the fridge tray size on the product listing. The fridge should sit inside the raised edge of the tray, not on top of it.

2. Measure the floor and the slide-out

The slide needs a flat, solid floor to bolt to, plus room to run out when it is open. Check the canopy or tub opening is wide and tall enough for the fridge to come out without hitting the lid, a shelf or the tailgate.

3. Flat or tilt fridge slide?

A tilt fridge slide drops down at the end, so you can see into a tall fridge without climbing up. Our listings don't describe a tilt function. If you need a tilt slide, call us on 1300 026 937 before you order and we will tell you whether ours suits.

4. Strap the fridge down

Fit tie-down straps so the fridge can't move on corrugations or under braking. Use the bar latch to keep the slide closed while you drive, and check it is latched before you leave.

5. Plan the power

Make sure your 12V lead is long enough to reach the fridge when the slide is fully out, and route it so it can't get caught as the slide moves.

6. Raw or black?

Choose raw aluminium for a plain look, or black to match a black canopy or drawer unit.

7. Build the camp kitchen

Add the canopy pantry, with six compartments on locking slides, for food and cooking gear. Canopy drawers keep recovery gear and tools sorted beside it. Prefer the slide built into a box? Our fridge and BBQ slide toolboxes come in 1400, 1700 and 2000mm lengths.
